![]() ![]() ![]() From the 220 mile, 90% charge when I departed the dealer, that translate to a remaining 155 miles of drive range, when in actuality I only drove 109 miles. When I picked up my car at the dealer I drove 109 miles, the car indicated that I had 65 miles to "empty" at a 27% charge remaining. Before the part in the car failed, my typical charge time was 5 to 7 hours. I have a 50 Amp breaker with a 50 Amp NEMA receptacle providing 220 volts at 50 amp maximum. ![]() ![]() Unacceptable for my Level 2 installation. This caused my charge time to increase to as much as 17 hours. My car was at the dealer for six weeks awaiting a defective part in the on-board charging system of the PS2. My other car is a 2015 Corvette C7 convertible which can achieve 32 mpg at 75 MPH on highways. For almost 60 years of driving and owning 32 new cars and driven hundreds of rental cars I track all of my mileage and cost and record those either on paper or in a computer. I'm not in the USA, so can't answer your charging cable question. This other thread I had started might also interest you. You could add your vote there, as we stand waiting.
